The Devas are Creating a Micro-climate!

Hello Friends,

I just wanted to share this short story from the garden. It’s snowing now, and everything is being covered by a cozy blanket of white fluff. I love the first snow, and I’m happy to see it here. But this week, before it got so snowy, we were amazed to see that when everything around us was covered in frost, our backyard was not. It was amazing! Right up to the property line, the neighbors’ yards were white with frost, and our plants and grass were still green. The grass even had some of that bright, almost-neon green of new growth! Here are the photos I took from an upstairs window. They’re not great, but you can see how the frost comes right up to the fence, but has left our little patch alone.

The Devas are creating a micro-climate here, and I’m so excited to see what they’ve got planned. We’ve had some really lovely things happen this year — evidence that the work of co-creation we’re doing is being appreciated by the plant spirits. And we’re appreciating the continued joy we are getting from seeing them grow!

Because we have lots of space to grow, we didn’t have to pull plants out after we harvested their veg. So our broccoli and cauliflower just got to keep on growing. We didn’t expect that they would start growing new plants out of the sides of the old stalks! Or that in mid-November we’d be harvesting the second cauliflower from one of these beautiful plants! I’m not sure how long these plants will keep growing now that we’re getting into the snowy season, but a lot of them have brand new little shoots coming out of their stalks, so we’re going to see what we can do to support them as long as they’d like to stick around!

How are things going for you, friend? Are you able to see little signs that the beings of Light all around us are supporting you in the work that you’re doing? I had someone comment on an Instagram post this week, and it was something along the order of: tulips will grow everywhere, you’re trying to make this spiritual. I’m paraphrasing, but you get the idea. And I replied, telling them that everything in the garden is spiritual for me. I feel it is such a beautiful way to feel our connection to the Planet and to the plant spirits. But the comment has me thinking — if we look for the Light, we will see it. And if we look for life to be mundane, that’s what we’ll see. So maybe we just need to set the intention to see the Light and to see all the little miracles all around, which are actually just evidence of how energy works and flows, and then watch and see what happens!

I’m sending you all so much love and light and many wishes for days filled with Light and miracles,

Jodie
