The Journal of a Spiritual Seeker, An Introduction
Welcome to The Journal of a Spiritual Seeker
Hello Seekers,
There is an opening for healing in the here and now. Everything that happens presents us with opportunities to grow and expand and evolve — in each and every moment of each and every day. How we choose to approach the openings and whether or not we choose to move into and through the openings is, of course, our choice.
The Journal of a Spiritual Seeker is a compilation of writing I channeled over the course of the last few years. The guidance I received as I tuned in to ask the questions that were plaguing my mind and consuming my heart is here for you to take in, as you need. This is my journey, as it unfolded — choice by choice, opening by opening.
I think 2020 is widely acknowledged to be one of the toughest years of our collective lives, and individually I’m sure most of you have experienced many levels of hardship through these last several months. It’s definitely been an unforgettable year for me, too. It feels timely, as we prepare to say goodbye to 2020, and welcome in whatever 2021 will bring, to release this journal to you in this form. I hope these words help you as they helped me, at a time when I was filled with fear, uncertainty, regret, self doubt, self recrimination and resistance to facing what was next. I hope these words help you move into a place of deeper self love and self acceptance, release old traumas and old patterns and establish a new energetic framework for your spiritual love and light to flow all the way through into your daily life.
This practice of tuning in and asking questions and receiving answers transformed my life in untold ways, and brought about so much healing for me. When I came to this journey, I was filled with fear and that fear manifested in extreme physical anxiety. I had a spiritual practice, but it was just beginning to transform from something I sort of thought about sometimes to something that guided more and more of my daily life. (If you’re interested, you can read a bit more of my story here.) This journal is how I began to transmute that fear and move out of that anxiety. Not that I don’t still experience fear or depression or anxiety, I do, but it’s different now. There is perspective and context, and that is in large part because of this practice.
I’ve also been incredibly blessed with a spiritual teacher and mentor who helps me through this process and provides clarity at times when I can’t get that clarity for myself. She often reminds me that this is what we lightworkers do for each other — we help each other and lift each other up when we need it. If you find yourself in the midst of this process and need a bit of help with clarity, do get in touch or book a reading and we can ask the Light about what is coming up for you through this process.
And in the meantime, I invite you to take these words into your heart and allow the energy of the Light to flow through to the places and spaces you need it most, to illuminate the darkness and bring about greater and deeper healing.
Sending you lots of Light and Love,
Jodie
The Journal of a Spiritual Seeker, An Introduction and First Communication
When my teacher first suggested I put “pen to paper,” I had no idea the communication that would unfold, or the massive impact it would have on my life. And her suggestion was simple: focus on asking the Christ Light to come through with any messages of Light that were important. “A lot will come through,” she told me. “You just have to allow it.”
Around the same time, I was reading “To Hear the Angels Sing” by Dorothy Maclean, which is a really nice book for anyone with a connection to the Devic Realm, and anyone who is thinking of putting pen to paper with the intention of bringing through whatever messages of Light are meant to come through. “There are no coincidences,” my aunt’s brother who is a priest and a lightworker is fond of saying, and this synchronicity — of reading that book and getting that homework assignment from my teacher — was no coincidence, it was divinely timed.
I invite you to put pen to paper as you go through this process, and allow yourself to discover the answers to the questions you’re asking.

First communication from the Light, Sept. 24, 2017
My child, you are divine being — an expression of Light and all that is Light. Trust this. Truly, you must abandon thoughts that do not promote positivity. You must allow this process the space and time it needs to become a fully integrated expression of your relationship with and to Light. Allow yourself time and space to speak with us, word to word. All will be revealed if you let go and open to Light.
The Devic Realm is available to you, just as you are available to those beings of Light who are all around.
Co-creation is vital and, in these times, it must be allowed the time and space it needs to exist.
Be with us in this and you will feel a sense of direction in all things. Be with us in this and you will see unfolding before you a beautiful vista of light and love and peace and harmony and growth.
Every beautiful thing you have imagined is real and lives within you. Like the tree you read about (in “To Hear Angels Sing”) today, it simply needs encouragement and admiration to grow and become manifest in 3-D. It is not ego to give this encouragement and admiration, for this is a true expression of Light and, as such, is a part of you and a part of me and a part of All That Is.
So love that inside you as if it is the plants that you cherish or your animal friends, for it is also these things. Give this love freely and without limits, for to limit it and belittle it will do it harm.
Thank you for coming here to this place of co-creation. The Earth and her children — human, plant, animal and all — are not doomed by any means. There is an awakening coming, and you are a part of bringing it through.
Self love is a vital part of communicating with the Devic Realm. We are all one, of course, so when you do harm to yourself through various modes of self hatred and self destruction, you are doing harm to us all. You must fully integrate this love of Self in everything you say and do. For to love yourself is to love All That Is.
Start your day with this.

Take a few moments to write down or reflect on this: Look at your daily life — how you spend your time — and evaluate whether or not your spiritual wellbeing is a priority for you. (You can even rate how much of a priority it is, if you’d like.) Do you make time to pursue the path of your soul, or does it get shuffled off into something you’d like to do someday? Is there an opening in your day to set aside even 5 or 10 or 15 minutes to tune into the Light of your Soul and see what messages it would like to share? What commitments can you make to yourself to help facilitate this deeper communication with yourself?
A brief note: This journal and its exercises are simply a means to help you find your own flow. There is no pressure to follow them exactly or read each and every one. It does not need to be read in order either, so if you miss one, don’t feel like you’ve failed or fallen behind. These messages are here to hold space for you as you discover and evolve within your spiritual practice.
This is the first volume of The Journal of the Spiritual Seeker, and I’m presenting it here on The Devic Connection website, serialized over the last 10 weeks of 2020, with weekly roundups via email (you can sign up in the box at the bottom of this page if you’d like to receive these.)
